I am a K/1 special day class teacher at Highlands, and I want you to know how monumental the learning has been for my students with your spelling program this year. This is the first spelling/reading program that has ever "clicked" for my special ed. kiddos. I have children with autism, language delays, and cognitive delays, and your multi-sensory program just makes sense for them. So I just wanted to praise you and thank you! My students feel so smart and confident with all of these words in their tool box!

- Robin Galaif, Highlands Elementary, Spring Valley, CA

Your program incorporates so many important ideas that are hard to teach due to lack of attention, yet your program engages the students and helps them learn whether they want to or not!

-Robert Wasilewski, Second Grade Teacher, Lemon Grove School District, Lemon Grove, CA

I love the So Simple program. We began using the program toward the middle of the year. When the program began, I was of the opinion, "Oh, great. Another thing to do in our day." But the kids really enjoyed learning the new words for the day. We would sing the chants on the way to lunch, out to recess, during free times, etc. The true test came at the end of the year. As the students were reading the vocabulary word lists they actively used the spelling and chants to help them decode the difficult words. I really feel that this program was a success. Thank you for developing something that we can REALLY use in classroom.

Mary Greene, First Grade, Lomitas Elementary, Victorville, California.

The So Simple program is wonderful! My students love their cheer words, they repeat them throughout the day, and can't wait for the new words. It was able to help all of my students read, including students who speak a different home language. They are able to recognize the cheer words in text and apply them to their writing. I am amazed! I recommend it to everyone.!

Marie Evenson, First Grade, Gerald Adams Elementary School, Key West, Florida

"It's been a tremendous success! When we are writing in journals and we want to use a sight word, all I have to do is start to hum the tune, and the kids chime in. They are then able to spell the word correctly in their sentence. They love the songs! It's been an invaluable addition to my reading/writing program in kindergarten."

"I teach a special day class for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Although these children are considered high functioning, learning how to read is a huge challenge for them.. I was at wits' end trying to find a meaningful way to teach sight words. The So Simple Sightword program is what I have been looking for all along. Each word is taught with a visual, verbal, and kinesthetic cue. This multi-modal approach provides an opportunity for the students with ASD to connect on several levels. This program really works!"

Elizabeth Martin, Special Education Teacher, LMSV School District

"I have been using your cheers to help my 1st graders with their sight words and they love it. I am getting a wonderful response from my kids. They enjoy doing the cheers and I can see that it is impacting their sight word vocabulary. Having a safety net that they can use when they are struggling to write or read a sight word is so rewarding for all of us. What I am doing (with your help) is making a difference! It's exciting to see my students so eager to learn."

Pam Green, Teacher ESL grades 1-4, Sherman Independent School District, TX

My school has found that “So Simple Sight Words” fills in the gap for the students learning their high frequency words. I lead the chants on the playground in the morning, standing on a picnic table in front of 120 students. They are now eager to start their day in this fun way. We have several limited English-speaking parents that stay for the "cheers" every day to help improve their own reading skills. The most amazing improvement has been with my students’ fluency. It has made all my students more confident readers and has taken a lot of stress from me in trying to get them to learn their high frequency words. It has brought back the excitement to my teaching as I watch my students’ own excitement and enjoyment for reading!

So Simple Sightwords" is a highly motivating and engaging program that has given my students instant success and confidence with learning to read and write. These cheers have unlocked the mystery of reading and spelling high frequency words with my "at-risk" and learning disabled students. "So Simple Sightwords" should be an integral part of any language arts instruction.

The So Simple Sight Words program has provided our students with a fun and engaging way to master the high frequency words of first grade. The program provides our students a way to internalize both the spelling and meaning of these words through cheers, songs, and movement. The program provides a framework for students to "own" each word and add it to the many words they learn through the program. Perhaps the best feature of the program is that students experience success early on and carry not just the confidence that comes with such success into the next grade, but the skill and knowledge as well.

I have observed the positive results of Patty's (Mrs. So's) program while working with my Speech and Language students. They are excited to show me that they know how to spell and eager to teach me the cheer that goes with the word. I have also noticed my students silently repeating/acting out a particular cheer as a cue during a writing activity. This program is truly a multisensory way to learn that is so helpful for students with language impairments.

Thank you for developing this amazing product for us to use. It has been a huge problem solver with regard to the challenge we all have with empowering our little ones to succeed at sight word recognition.

Sandi Reeves, First Grade Teacher, Sweetwater Springs Community School, Spring Valley, CA

My students look forward to learning each day's new cheer. As they watch Patty So on the screen and follow along with the song, the movement, and the spelling they are required to use multiple areas of the brain which leads to optimal engagement. Since they are fully engaged, they learn their sight words quickly, apply what they've learned to daily reading and writing, and with a hum or a gesture can remind a classmate of how to spell or read a word. I feel lucky to have an effective program that is designed to teach every student the words they must know as beginner readers. So Simple Learning also provides opportunities to review and reinforce what has been taught. I can't say enough good things about the So Simple Learning Program!
